New York native, writer and fine-art painter Malika Howell, also known as MisMalika, has made the beautiful island of Trinidad her home-base as of 2016. The international artist has shown her pieces in group shows in New York City and her work can be found across the US. Her roots stem from Port-Of-Spain T&T, more notably in the St.James area where her grandmother and mother have built a legacy of humanitarianism.
Studying and practicing fine-art in New York City since the age of 13, Malika plans to share her knowledge through various projects in the caribbean. She has recently joined the Art Society of Trinidad and Tobago and plans to become an important figure in the art community of T&T. Her past shows can be seen here.
